Recipe

My mom gave me an old cookbook that belonged to my Great Grandma. There is a recipe for Caramel Pie. YUM!

Here it is:

One cup brown sugar, butter size of egg, set on stove and dissolve, cup hot water with TBS cornstarch dissolved, one tsp vanilla and yolks of two eggs; mix with the first part and cook till it thickens; fill shell and beat egg whites on top and brown.

Hmmmm, sounds good and inexpensive!!
